We usually reply within a few business days. Reports about user behaviour are reviewed by our moderation team within 24 hours.
Pick your city at the top of the home screen, browse the plans for the next few hours and open the one you like. Then tap "Join" — or, if the host enabled approval, send a request and wait for a reply. The exact meeting address becomes visible only to confirmed participants.
Tap "＋" at the bottom of the screen, choose a category, add a title, a point on the map, the time and the duration. The plan appears in your city’s feed as soon as it is published. Participants talk in the event’s group chat.
Open a user’s profile — from the chat, the participant list or an event card. "Report" and "Block" are available there. Blocking works both ways: you stop seeing each other’s events and messages, and the shared chat closes. Reports go to our moderation team.
If a situation threatens safety, contact local emergency services. The app does not replace them.
Check Profile → Notifications in the app, then the notification settings for Hangly in your device settings. If permission was denied earlier, it can only be re-enabled in the system settings.
Profile → Delete account. This cannot be undone: the profile, created events, participation, messages and avatar are permanently removed. If you no longer have access to the app, write to privacy@hangly.co.
Hangly is intended for users aged 18 and over. Alcohol-related events are available only to people of legal drinking age.
