Signing in, and the data we ask for
Hangly uses Sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple to create your account — there is no separate password to invent or lose.
From your Google Account we request only two things: your email address and your basic profile (name and picture). The email identifies your account and nothing else — we do not send marketing to it. The name and picture become your Hangly profile, so people who join the same plan can see who they are meeting; you can change both in the app at any time.
That is the whole of it. Hangly never reads your Gmail, contacts, calendar or files, never posts anything on your behalf, and never sells or shares this data with advertisers. You can delete your account and everything tied to it from inside the app: Profile → Delete account. Full detail is in the privacy policy.
